Divine Service: Sundays @ 9:00 am.
with Holy Communion celebrated every Sunday.

We also gather for the Lord's Supper on the major festivals of Christmass Eve, Epiphany, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and Ascension Day; Thanksgiving Eve; and other times as announced. Other worship services are offered on Good Friday and the Wednesdays of Lent.
Mid-week daytime services generally begin at 11 am and evening services begin at 7 pm -- unless otherwise announced.
Healing Services, including the laying on of hands and anointing with oil, are offered on an occasional basis during the year.
All are welcome to join us in worship of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Worship at Zion generally follows the historic liturgies as found in the Lutheran Book of Worship. In addition to the hymns in the LBW, we use the supplemental hymnal Lutheran Harmony to help us sing our praises of the Triune God.
Zion's pipe organ was built for the church by the Hinners Organ Company of Pekin, Illinois, and was dedicated in April 1927. The 7 rank, 2 manual instrument is maintained and tuned by Schneider Pipe Organs, Inc. of Kenney, Illinois. Their Opus XXIV was a complete re-wiring and conversion to solid-state operation, rebuild of the cousole, and replacement of the pedalboard, a project completed in early 2002. This was the first stage of a proposed total renovation of the organ.
Are you an organist (or a pianist) and near the Peoria area?
We'd like to talk to you about accompanying the liturgies at Zion.
Please look at our position announcement.
