How you can help

 

Become a volunteer. Zion's Prison Mission aims to train more Project Return partnership teams in the coming year to work with returning mothers. We need three to five volunteers for each team. Each mother is matched with a partnership team for up to one year. If you don't have experience with this kind of work, don't worry. We'll train you!

Invite a speaker to your organization. Zion's Missionary to Prisons, Karen Wong, AIM (or one of her associates), makes presentations to congregations, women's groups, other organizations, and other public venues to educate about prison ministry, prison re-integration and other issues surrounding incarceration. We'd love to speak to your group!

Organize a fund-raising event. Would your organization to host a car wash, pancake breakfast, bake sale, or other event with the proceeds donated to Zion's Prison Mission?

Make a donation. Cash contributions and offerings — large or small — from individuals or groups are always welcome. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church is a 501(c)(3) organization, so cash contributions are eligible for income tax deduction.
