Passion Sunday — March 16
Palm Procession with Holy Communion at 9:00 am

Zion's Holy Week observance begins with a Palm Procession, as we gather in the Upper Parish Hall, parade into God's House (as Jesus paraded into Jerusalem), hear the Passion according to St. Matthew, and celebrate Holy Communion.

Wednesday of Holy Week — March 19
Healing Service at 11:00 am

As many of us were marked with a Cross of the ashes of repentance at the beginning of Lent on Ash Wednesday, we complete the 40 days of Lent by being marked again with a Cross -- this time of oil for healing.

Maundy Thursday — March 20
Maundy Thursday Liturgy at 7:00 pm
[Maundy Thursday]

We gather to remember the Last Supper, where Jesus gave his disciples a new command (mandatum) to "love one another even as I have loved you." The evening liturgy includes Corporate Confession and Absolution, the Lord's Supper, and the Stripping of the Altar for Good Friday.

Good Friday — March 21
Stations of the Cross at 10:30 am (at Bethel)
Good Friday Liturgy at Noon (at Zion)
Good Friday Liturgy at 7 pm (at Bethel)

We gather at the foot of the Cross to witness Christ's glory while hearing the Passion according to St. John.

Easter Sunday — March 23
The Resurrection of Our Lord at 6:30 am and 10:00 am
[Easter]

Our festive Sonrise Service at 6:30 am begins in the darkness from Good Friday,
then bursts into the light of the Resurrection.
At both services this morning we celebrate Holy Communion with the Risen Lord Jesus.

Join us for Easter Breakfast between services, beginning at 8:00 am.
